How do factories prevent air pollution produced by their machines?

 The industrial air pollution control systems include a variety of methods. We need to understand that there are two types of air pollutants - particulate matter and gaseous compounds. For particulate matter, the best method is to place a bag filter in smoke stacks. The bags can be cleaned and reused after a specified period of time. Wet scrubbers are the best method for gaseous pollutants, as the pollutants are converted into liquid and can be treated easily. However, if you need air pollution control system for both particulate and gaseous emissions, then you can install two systems.
